I had the privilege of serving in the State Assembly with John.  He was an outstanding legislator, a loyal New Yorker and always a gentleman.  May he rest in peace.

I offer many prayers for you and for John's soul during this time of your loss.  From Jaq's beautiful obit it is evident that John lived a full and fruitful life, much of which serving the many needs and interests of his family, and his fellow man.  May he rest in peace...
